Your Account & Information
User Data Quality
Accurate information helps Zodo provide useful matching details and a consistent experience. This includes the information you provide, the information Zodo calculates, and the information you see about other members.
We do our best to keep this information accurate and consistent, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is correct, current, or complete.
It Starts with Your Details
Zodo relies on members to provide accurate information about themselves and their preferences. Depending on the feature, this may include:
- Date of birth and other birth details.
- Pronouns and partner preferences.
- Location and other account information.
- Photographs and personal descriptions.
Incorrect or outdated details can affect more than what appears on a profile. They can also affect calculations, matching, and the information presented elsewhere in Zodo.
From Birth Details to Matching
Zodo uses birth information to calculate details such as age, zodiac sign, and Chinese zodiac sign. Our matching process also considers compatibility information and member preferences.
We take care with these calculations, but their accuracy depends in part on the information supplied. Errors in the underlying data or the calculation process can affect the results.
This applies to information about you and to the information used when presenting potential connections.
Routine Information Checks
Occasionally, Zodo may ask you to reaffirm your date of birth or confirm other account details. These routine checks help identify errors or inconsistencies in the information used throughout the service.
We appreciate your patience with these requests and your help in keeping your information up to date. If something is incorrect and you cannot update it through your account, contact Zodo for assistance.
Photographs & Other Member Information
Members should use photographs that accurately represent them and keep their information current. Zodo cannot guarantee that every photograph is authentic or recent, or that every detail another member provides is accurate.
A displayed photograph, age, sign, location, or preference should not be treated as independent confirmation of someone’s identity or circumstances. Take time to get to know the person behind the information.
When Something Seems Wrong
An incorrect detail may be an ordinary mistake. If you believe an account contains deliberately false or misleading information, or you suspect impersonation or fraud, use Zodo’s Report feature.
You do not need to investigate the person, prove fraud, or confront them. For reporting instructions and an explanation of what Report does, see Managing Zodo Connections .
