Answers to common questions about matching, conversations, your account, safety, and Zodo policies.

Getting Started & Matching

Understand Zodo matching, cards, and subscriptions.

What is Zodo?

Zodo is a dating service for adults 18 and older. It uses zodiac compatibility, member preferences, and proprietary matching methods to help members discover potential connections. Compatibility information is for entertainment and informational purposes; it does not guarantee a relationship.

How do I find potential matches?

Select Spin to see matching cards. Zodo considers zodiac compatibility, your preferences, and the stated preferences of other members. The available cards and their order can also depend on your account and prior connection actions.

What happens when I swipe down?

Swipe down to express interest in someone and place them in your orbit as a potential connection. Both people must swipe down on each other for a mutual match. Only after that mutual match can a chat become available, subject to the active chat slots included with your subscription.

Can I chat with someone as soon as I swipe down?

No. Swiping down shows your interest, but does not create a chat. A match must be mutual: the other person must also swipe down on you. Once both people have expressed interest, chat is available subject to your subscription’s active chat-slot limits.

What happens when I swipe up?

Swipe up to pass for now. The person returns to the Zodo universe and is temporarily removed from your potential matches. The person is not notified, and may appear again in the future.

Can someone I passed on appear again?

Yes. Someone you passed on may return to your matching cards later, but not immediately. The Zodo matching process determines whether and when they reappear.

How many matches can I make?

Daily matching-card and match allowances depend on your Zodo subscription and the available pool of compatible members. Your subscription also determines how many active chat slots you can use.

Are astrology scores a guarantee of compatibility?

No. Zodiac signs, compatibility scores, horoscopes, and suggested matches are informational and entertainment features. They are not guarantees about someone’s identity, intentions, behavior, or relationship outcomes.

Chats & Connection Controls

Match, Pass, Unmatch, Quiet, Block, and Report.

What is the difference between Unmatch, Quiet, Block, and Report?

Unmatch ends a chat and deletes its chat history but allows a future match. Quiet frees a chat slot without ending the connection and can be reversed. Block permanently prevents future interaction and matching. Report does the same as Block and alerts Zodo monitors. Review all connection controls.

What happens if I Unmatch someone?

Unmatching removes the person from your active chats, ends the connection, frees the chat slot, and deletes the existing chat history. A future match remains possible. Unmatching does not restore a daily match allowance.

Can I undo an Unmatch?

Unmatch does not restore the ended chat or deleted history. However, the person may reappear in your matching-card deck and you may be able to match again.

What does Quiet do?

Quiet removes a conversation from your active chat slots while keeping the underlying connection. It is a way to manage chat capacity, not a safety control or a block.

How do I Quiet or Unquiet a conversation?

To Quiet, open the conversation, open the member’s profile, and select Quiet. Quieted connections appear below your chat area; select Unquiet to bring one back when you have an available chat slot.

What if all my chat slots are full?

You can Quiet an active conversation to free a slot without ending that connection. Unmatch, Block, and Report also free a slot, but have different and potentially permanent consequences.

What happens when I Block someone?

Blocking permanently ends your connection, stops further chats, removes the conversation from active chats, frees the chat slot, and prevents future matching or interaction. Block cannot be undone. It does not alert Zodo monitors.

When should I Report instead of Block?

Use Report for suspected scams, threats, harassment, impersonation, abuse, unsafe conduct, underage use, or other serious concerns. Reporting creates permanent separation and sends an alert to Zodo monitors for review.

How do I Report a profile or conversation?

From a conversation, open the member’s profile and select Report. You may also select Report directly from a matching card. Confirm the report and provide an accurate reason. Your account needs a valid email address.

What happens after I submit a report?

Further matching and chat interaction between the two accounts is prevented. Zodo monitors receive an email alert and may review the report and take action. Zodo does not guarantee a particular enforcement outcome or disclose actions taken against another member.

Can I reverse a Block or Report?

No. Both permanently prevent future connections between the two accounts. A report additionally alerts Zodo monitors.

Your Profile, Data & Account

Understand the details you provide and the information Zodo calculates.

What information do I provide to Zodo?

Depending on the feature, Zodo may request your birth date (used to calculate your Western and Chinese zodiac signs), pronouns, partner preferences, location (subject to the level of detail you choose to share), account details, photographs, and profile description. Accurate information helps support matching and the information shown on your profile.

What information does Zodo calculate?

Zodo uses the information you provide to calculate details such as age, zodiac sign, Chinese zodiac sign, and matching information. Errors in source data or calculations may affect what is shown.

Why might Zodo ask me to confirm my birth date?

Routine information checks help identify inaccurate or inconsistent account details. If a detail is wrong and you cannot correct it yourself, contact Zodo.

Does Zodo verify every profile or photograph?

No. Zodo cannot guarantee that another member’s photographs are authentic or recent, or that details such as age, sign, location, or preferences are accurate. Profile information is not independent proof of identity. Read User Data Quality.

What personal information can other members see?

Other members can see your first name and last initial, profile photographs, biography, age, Western and Chinese zodiac signs, and a height range (for example, 5′4″–5′7″), where displayed. Other users cannot see your matching details. Zodo does not display your account email address, phone number, mailing address, login credentials, or birth date on your ordinary profile.

Does Zodo sell my personal information?

No. Zodo’s Privacy Policy states that Zodo does not sell personal information. Authorized personnel and service providers may process information for the purposes described in the policy. Read the Privacy Policy.

How can I request access to, correction of, or deletion of my data?

Privacy choices may include access, correction, or deletion, depending on applicable law. For account deletion, sign in to your account portal and choose Delete My Zodo Account. For other privacy requests, contact Zodo.

Does deleting the app delete my account?

No. Removing the mobile app from your device does not delete your Zodo account. Submit an account-deletion request using the account portal.

Will all information disappear when I request account deletion?

Zodo deletes or deidentifies personal data that is no longer required, subject to its policies. Some transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, Block/Report, dispute, legal, and backup records may be retained. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Safety, Conduct & Reporting

Recognize suspicious behavior, protect your information, and understand Zodo’s safety controls.

Any advice for personal safety?

Our Online Safety Guide offers optional, general precautions for online interactions and personal meetings. Important: These suggestions are provided for general information only, not as a guarantee of protection or individualized safety advice. Zodo does not verify the identity or intentions of every member, supervise or control in-person meetings, or assume responsibility for users’ decisions or conduct outside the service. You are responsible for evaluating your own circumstances and choices. Zodo is not an emergency or law-enforcement service.

A Zodo member asked me for money. What should I do?

Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, payment transfers, banking details, or financial account access to another member in response to a personal request, even if the request describes an emergency. If the request seems suspicious or involves pressure, use Report to alert Zodo monitors. Official Zodo Trinkets purchased through the service are separate from direct requests for money.

How can I protect my privacy while dating online?

Be careful about sharing your home address, workplace, daily routines, financial information, identification, or identifying details in photographs. Never share your login credentials, passwords, or verification codes with anyone. Review photos for location clues and consider what your social media accounts reveal.

Are intimate images or sexual content allowed on Zodo?

Zodo’s Community Guidelines prohibit sexually explicit images and unwanted sexual content. Do not send explicit images through Zodo or pressure anyone to share them. If another member sends unwanted sexual content or pressures you for intimate images, you can use Block or Report. Review the Community Guidelines.

Can people under 18 use Zodo?

No. Zodo is intended only for adults 18 and older. If you suspect someone is underage, stop any contact and report the account.

What if someone makes me feel unsafe on Zodo?

Trust your instincts. If another member makes you feel threatened or unsafe, avoid situations that feel unsafe and remember you can stop communicating at any time. Use Block to permanently prevent future interaction or Report to permanently separate your accounts and alert Zodo monitors. If safe, preserve relevant messages or screenshots before acting. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 in the United States or contact local emergency services. Zodo is not an emergency service and cannot intervene in offline situations. Managing Zodo Connections.

What conduct violates the Community Guidelines?

Examples include threats, harassment, hateful or discriminatory behavior, impersonation, fraud, privacy violations, unwanted sexual conduct, exploitation, spam, illegal activity, and attempts to get passwords or financial credentials. Read the Community Guidelines.

What if another member makes me uncomfortable or pressures me?

You can end a conversation or decline further interaction at any time. If another member sends unwanted messages, pressures you to share personal information, or ignores your boundaries, use Block to permanently prevent future interaction. For harassment, threats, suspected fraud, or other serious concerns, use Report to alert Zodo monitors. Learn about connection controls.

Policies, Subscriptions & Copyright

Understand the terms and policies governing Zodo.

Where can I read Zodo’s site policies?

Review the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use. For copyright or DMCA procedures, read the Digital Rights & DMCA policy.

Zodo is intended for people 18 and older who are legally able to agree to its Terms. Members must provide accurate information, create their own accounts, and comply with community standards.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Use the account management features available through Zodo or the payment provider through which you subscribed. Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase, payments, subscriptions, and digital purchases are non-refundable. App-store or other payment-provider terms may also apply.

Zodo may review relevant information and respond with a warning, content removal, feature limits, suspension, account termination, or other measures as appropriate. A report does not guarantee an enforcement action, and Zodo generally does not disclose decisions about another account.

How do I report copyright infringement?

Review the DMCA policy, then use the Contact Us page to submit a DMCA infringement notice. Include the copyrighted work, location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, required good-faith and accuracy statements, and an authorized signature. Zodo may share the claim with the accused user.

What if my content was removed due to a copyright complaint?

Review the DMCA policy. You may send a DMCA counter-notification through Contact Us. It must include the removed material and previous location, contact information, required mistake and jurisdiction statements, and your physical or electronic signature.
