1. Welcome to Zodo

These Terms of Use establish the legal agreement between you and Zodo regarding your access to and use of the Service.

Zodo is an online platform designed to help adults discover and manage personal connections.

These Terms apply whenever you access or use the Service or any related products or services made available by Zodo.

Your use of Zodo is also subject to our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Guide, and any other policies, guidelines, notices, or terms that Zodo publishes or otherwise makes available as part of the Service.

Together, these documents describe how the Service operates, how personal information is handled, the standards that help maintain a respectful community, and other rules governing your use of Zodo.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with another Zodo policy, these Terms will control unless that policy expressly states otherwise.

2. Eligibility

Zodo is intended exclusively for adults who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
  • You are at least eighteen (18) years old.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
  • You are creating an account only for yourself.
  • You are eligible to use the Service under these Terms of Use.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person, impersonate another individual, or knowingly provide materially false identity information.

Unless expressly authorized by Zodo, you may maintain only one personal account.

If Zodo determines that an account does not satisfy these eligibility requirements, Zodo may take action consistent with these Terms of Use.

3. Community Standards

Zodo is committed to providing a respectful, welcoming, and enjoyable community for all users. Your use of the Service is subject to these Terms of Use, our Community Guidelines, and any other policies, guidelines, notices, or terms that Zodo publishes or otherwise makes available as part of the Service.

The Community Guidelines describe the standards of conduct expected of all users and explain behavior that is prohibited on Zodo. By using the Service, you agree to comply with those standards.

Violations of the Community Guidelines or these Terms of Use may result in account moderation or other action as described in these Terms. The Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, emerging safety concerns, or improvements intended to protect the Zodo community.

4. Moderation and Account Enforcement

Zodo reserves the exclusive right to determine whether an account, profile, content, communication, or other activity is inconsistent with these Terms of Use, the Community Guidelines, the purpose of the Service, or the standards and mission of the Zodo community.

Zodo may investigate reports, review content or account activity, remove content, limit profile visibility, restrict access to features, suspend an account, or permanently terminate an account when conduct or activity is determined to be inconsistent with these standards.

Moderation decisions may be made using automated systems, artificial intelligence, human review, community signals, user reports, or any combination of these methods.

Zodo exclusively reserves the right to make moderation and account-enforcement decisions. Zodo is not required to obtain the approval of an affected user or a judicial, governmental, law-enforcement, or other third-party determination before taking action under these Terms.

Zodo may take action without advance notice when Zodo determines that immediate action is appropriate to protect users, preserve the integrity of the Service, prevent misuse, enforce a prior moderation decision, or support the operation of the Zodo community.

Zodo retains the right to protect the confidentiality of user reports, internal review methods, moderation criteria, account-security information, and other sensitive information associated with the moderation process. This includes information submitted by other users and information concerning actions taken with respect to another account.

5. Astrology, Matching, and Compatibility

Zodo is designed to help users discover personal connections through a combination of astrology, user preferences, proprietary matching methods, and other information made available through the Service. Compatibility scores, suggested connections, horoscopes, and similar features are intended to assist users in exploring potential connections.

Astrological content, compatibility scores, horoscopes, and related insights are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not statements of fact, guarantees of compatibility, predictions of future events, or professional advice.

Zodo makes no representation or warranty that any compatibility score, horoscope, suggested connection, recommendation, or other feature of the Service is accurate, complete, or will produce any particular outcome or relationship.

Users remain solely responsible for their decisions, communications, interactions, and relationships with other users, whether those interactions occur through the Service or elsewhere.

6. User Content and License

You retain ownership of any content or information that you submit to Zodo (“User Content”). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your User Content to Zodo.

By submitting User Content, you grant Zodo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, distribute within the Service, and otherwise process your User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, maintain, improve, protect, support, and develop the Service.

This license also permits Zodo to process your User Content in connection with future features or functionality that you choose to access or use.

This license ends when your User Content or account is deleted, except to the extent that limited retention is permitted under these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or Zodo’s applicable data-retention practices.

You represent and warrant that you own your User Content or have the necessary rights to submit it to Zodo and to grant the license described in these Terms.

The Service is not intended to serve as a repository or backup service for User Content. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of any User Content or other information that you wish to preserve.

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Except for your User Content, the Service and all associated software, designs, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, branding, proprietary matching methods, functionality, and other intellectual property are owned by Zodo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service or any Zodo intellectual property to you. Your use of the Service is limited to the rights expressly granted by these Terms of Use.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise use any portion of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

8. Service Changes

Zodo continually develops, improves, and updates the Service. The Service, including its features, functionality, content, subscriptions, pricing, promotions, and other offerings, may be modified, updated, replaced, suspended, or discontinued from time to time.

Zodo reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Service, with or without notice, as permitted by applicable law.

Additional terms, policies, guidelines, or notices may apply to certain features, products, services, promotions, subscriptions, or other offerings. Those additional terms become part of your agreement with Zodo if you choose to access or use the applicable feature, product, or service.

9. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While Zodo strives to provide a reliable Service, Zodo does not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, platform, or operating environment.

From time to time, access to all or part of the Service may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, limited, or otherwise affected.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the devices, software, internet connectivity, and other resources necessary to access and use the Service.

10. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Certain features of the Service may require the purchase of a subscription or other paid offering. By purchasing a subscription or other paid feature, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges associated with your purchase.

Payments may be processed by Zodo or by one or more authorized third-party payment providers. Your purchase may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment provider or app store.

Subscription pricing, membership benefits, billing periods, and available offerings may change from time to time. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, changes will apply only to future purchases or renewal periods.

You may cancel a subscription at any time using the account management tools made available through the Service or the applicable payment provider. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period unless required by applicable law or expressly provided by Zodo.

Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, payments, subscriptions, digital purchases, and other fees are non-refundable.

11. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You may request deletion of your Zodo account using the account management features made available through the Service. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Deletion of your account will remove or deidentify your personal information in accordance with these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Zodo’s applicable policies and practices. Deleted accounts and associated User Content generally cannot be restored.

Certain records may be retained after account deletion or deidentification in accordance with Zodo’s applicable policies and practices. The manner and duration of such retention may vary depending on the type of information and the applicable policies and practices in effect at the time.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service may incorporate, interact with, or provide access to third-party products, services, websites, applications, content, payment providers, app stores, or other resources. Your use of any third-party service is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy practices of the applicable third party.

Users may also share or reference third-party websites, applications, products, services, content, or other resources in connection with the Service. Zodo does not review, endorse, control, monitor, or accept responsibility for any such third-party resources, and your access to or use of them is at your own risk.

References to, links to, or availability of any third-party products, services, websites, applications, content, or other resources through the Service do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty by Zodo unless expressly stated otherwise.

13. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

Zodo disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Zodo does not warrant or guarantee the availability, reliability, accuracy, completeness, security, or uninterrupted operation of the Service.

Zodo does not warrant or guarantee the identity, authenticity, intentions, conduct, availability, or actions of any user, or that any connection, communication, compatibility score, horoscope, recommendation, or other feature of the Service will produce any particular outcome.

Your use of the Service and your interactions with other users are solely your responsibility. You are solely responsible for evaluating information made available through the Service and for any decisions or actions you take based upon that information.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zodo and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms of Use.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zodo’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms of Use shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount paid by you for the subscription period or purchase giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100.00).

The limitations set forth in this Section apply regardless of the legal theory upon which a claim is based, including contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal or equitable theory.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Subject to applicable law, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Zodo’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right under these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

Zodo may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The most current version will be made available through the Service and will include the date it became effective.

If Zodo determines that a revision materially affects your rights or obligations, Zodo may provide additional notice as permitted by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those revised Terms.
